The Skills4Nuclear (S4N) project activities were highlighted at the Slovenia-held Nuclear Energy for New Europe (NENE) conference, within a poster exhibition organised from 8 to 10 September. During the exhibition, European Nuclear Education Network (ENEN)’s Gabriel Pavel was present to discuss the project with conference participants.
The exhibited poster detailed the objectives of the S4N project, highlighting its aim to address workforce and skills shortages in EU nuclear fission and fusion sectors by establishing a long-term collaborative framework that integrates industry, research and training bodies.
The poster also listed some highlights from the project, such as the creation of a European Forum for Nuclear Workforce and Skills, or the development of a Nuclear Skills Strategy, and gave an overview of the project’s expected impact.
